Who are we?

Calasanz Foundation is a non-profit social organization that works in support of people in vulnerable situations, especially children, adolescents, and families, throughout their life cycle through programs in education, protection, health, and community support.

Inspired by the charism of Saint Joseph Calasanz and aligned with the humanitarian mission of the Piarist Fathers, the Foundation carries out its work in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, Ecuador, responding to realities marked by poverty, social exclusion, violence, and lack of opportunities.

Since its creation, Calasanz Foundation has focused its work on the restoration of rights, strengthening families, and building protective environments that allow individuals to develop with dignity, respect, and hope.

Our mission

We are an institution inspired by the Calasanz charism that supports people in vulnerable situations throughout their life cycle, guided by the motto of the Piarist Fathers: Faith and Culture, promoting education, protection, and human dignity.

Our vision

To be a leading institution in the protection and comprehensive development of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations, through education, institutional care, health services, and positive social and family reintegration, from a holistic perspective centered on the person.

Our purpose

To contribute to guaranteeing the rights and opportunities of children and adolescents in vulnerable communities in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, Ecuador.
